With the MAMBOO Nova found the right balance. The brake pressure is light but the feedback is still good. The glider needs only a little input to react but the brake travel is still long enough for the 1-2 certification. Airwave Magics are arguably the finest DHV2-3 of their time (2001-2002). They have exquisite, light, accurate handling - about as fine as Airwave's handling's ever been. With 8.6 to 8.7 glide ratio. This medium is one of my special colour schemes - note how many are now copying these special colour schemes of 2001. They are made of Gelvenor silicon cloth which lasts indefintely and both are in excellent condition with low hours. They offer an excellent step up for a good intermediate pilot, or a super cheap fun/coastal machine, with huge performance! Silly price for a dream machine - $NZ 690

Nova Aeron M 90-110kg, two in stock, one blue, one red (stunning 4-colour top and 3-colour bottom surface), DHV 2, 9 glide ratio, 53kmh top speed, 57 cells. 80hrs and 120 hrs, both have 12 minutes porosity - Gelvenor cloth lasts two or three times longer than other cloths. The Aeron is a revolution - there has not been this much performance on a wing with such easy mid-level DHV 2 safety. This is not a tweaked high end DHV 2 glider - it has an incredibly stable mid section which hardly ever collapses, it's been the most popular DHV2 wing in the world until the Tattoo (its replacement) came. Its proven itself to give very high performance without the scary moments. It brings amazing cross-country and competition performance to the DHV 2 safety level making it accessible to the better intermediate pilots. OZONE OCTANE M 80-100kg, DHV 2, 8 glide, 50kmh top speed, 53 cells, 100 hours, very good condition, 15 mins porosity, Octanes are the greatest all-round fun machine ever, they have the most extraordinary accurate quick handling which is why they became the ACRO standard - the majority of acro competitors flew the Octane. Huge dynamic accuracy without getting the pilot into too much trouble. If you miss out on the Octane you have missed a great piece of history and one of the best steps in the evolution toward the perfect glider. It took Ozone 3 years to improve on it to create the new Vulcan. The hardest thing is to convince Octane owners that there could be a better wing. PERCHE SONIC M 60-90kg (this is the smallest size and will suit 60-75kg pilots naked), it's really a DHV2 level glider but 1 not so important maneuver gets a DHV2-3, it was their intermediate glider so will suit an intermediate pilot wanting a bargin.
